Students, practicing what they learned during a Clinic

A half trim done on a cadaver hoof at one of our Clinics

This is more than just a Trim Clinic. We discuss diet, anatomy, stances and so much more. The hoof is one of the most looked over parts of the horse.

So often we blame bad behavior on attitude or just a bad horse… BUT what if that horse is uncomfortable with it’s feet?

How about the horse that won’t pick up a lead or extend it’s trot? Are the toes and/or heels too long?

Do your horses feet constantly flare and not even shoes fixes the issue? Have a look at the bars, I would bet that they are pushing the walls out.

Be proactive by learning how to deal with pathologies like Thrush, Laminitis and White Line issues before they become serious.

There are so many issues that are solved by changing the horses feet, diet and movement.

You don’t want to learn to trim… I don’t blame you, it’s hard work. BUT do your horse and yourself a favor, learn more about the function and performance of their feet.

Leaning more about hoof care saved my horses life and sent me on a whole new adventure.

1 Day Clinics The morning will consist of a slide show presentation, with an in-depth look at the equine hoof. The afternoon will consist of learning how to properly pick out the horse's feet and determining if there are any concerns with the hoof. A trim demo will be done to show you what a healthy hoof truly looks like.

Should time permit, we may do a partial dissection on a cadaver hoof.

Day 1 Only - $250

Day 2: This is the day that you learn the positions of the hoof for photos so that we will be able to communicate better if/when you require help in the future. Afterwards you will evaluate and trim your own horse, with guidance.

Day 1 & 2 - $350
